Roderick K. Glover

Born and raised in the shadow of the Old Man of the Mountains in Franconia New Hampshire, Tad, as he was known by family and friends, was the quintessential Yankee.  Son of Wilfred Knight Glover and Emma Irene Silver. As the descendent of a self made businessman and a long line of woodworkers he built his own craft and business while still in his teens. He was known throughout his life as a master craftsman.

He raised a family of 3 boys, one of which survives him, Matthew Owen Glover, and has a number of much treasured grandchildren. He is survived by his sister Peggy Glover of Hardy’s Chapel, Tennessee.  Nearby, on a beautiful wooded acreage, surrounded by his own custom designed hand built cabin, studio and shop, he spent the last 27 years in the hills of Tennessee after the passing of their mother in 1992.

When not working in his shop  in his later years, he was writing and publishing novels and involved in community welfare activities.

Tad attended UNH and left as his legacy a Trust that helps the shining stars of  tomorrow  to finance their college aspirations.

Tad leaves us filled with the certainty that he lived his life fully, with great satisfaction in his accomplishments and with great love for those close to him.  His  decades long love, Lindy Johnson , was with him the last year of his life and at his passing.
