FRANK KINCAID DEARBORN

Frank Kincaid Dearborn: Frank (Kenny) Kincaid Dearborn (July 30, 1952- November 1, 2021) Beloved husband, father and grandfather, Kenny Dearborn passed away at the age of 69, after a long illness, on November 1st, 2021. Born in Arlington, Massachusetts, he was raised in Lexington, Massachusetts and attended Lexington High School. He entered the service after high school and served three years in the 82nd Airborne Division of the Army. He was a resident of Boxborough, Massachusetts since 1994. Carpenter, avid mountain climber, and bicyclist, Kenny’s zest for life and compassionate, gentle manner will be remembered with love by his family and friends long after his passing. Kenny was a spiritual man, converting to Catholicism after the birth of his third child in 1991. He loved the church, and he was proud to bring his children up in his faith. He loved his children dearly, and what he wanted most for them was to be kind, caring, and compassionate people. He lived to see this hope realized. Kenny was happiest when he was on the trail. He instilled in his children his love of the outdoors, hiking, and camping. Sharing his passions with his three beautiful grandchildren would have brought him such joy, but his life ended too soon. He will be looking down upon those same Appalachian Mountains, smiling, as his children continue this tradition. He is survived by his wife of forty-one years, Susan; his son Eric and wife Brooke and their daughter Ellie and son Caleb of Woburn, Massachusetts; his son Peter and wife Alden and their son Killian of Brighton, Massachusetts; daughter Emilyann her partner Christian De Ville of Kalispell, Montana; daughter Rachael and her partner Gil Shohet of San Francisco, California; sister Anne and husband Tim Ward of Ossipee, New Hampshire; brother Lee and wife Anna of Acton, Massachusetts; brother Mark and wife Diane of Groton, Massachusetts; as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of a wake or funeral, the family will hold a celebration of life as well as a memorial hike in the Summer of 2022. For those who knew him well, his gentle spirit will always live on in the outdoors. Donations can be made to the Jimmy Fund in Kenny’s name. His daughter Emilyann is a cancer survivor, and Kenny was eternally grateful to the nurses and doctors who worked tirelessly to treat and care for her.
