Roni Roy

Roni R Roy, 87, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2026. She was the daughter of the late William and Marie (Frei) Roy.She leaves 5 sons, Barry and his wife Laurie of Webster, Roy and his wife Linda of Worcester, Danny of Thompson CT, Mark and his wife Kirsten of Webster, Brian and his wife Kim of Webster; her sister Ruth Mikolajczak of Webster; 9 grandchildren: Barry Jr and Kayla, Lauren, Tommy and Jillian, Johnny, Jack, Drew and Morgan; 7 great grandchildren and many cousins, nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister Rhea McCarthy.Roni graduated from St. Louis High School in 1957 and lived in Webster for most of her life. She owned and operated Roni’s Beauty Boutique for many years until fighting multiple battles with cancer in the late 1980s. After recovering, she went on to work as a bookkeeper for 33 years at the Diamond Auto Group, retiring at age 80. Roni was a very independent, hard working, and giving woman. She held many part time jobs, while maintaining her full time employment. She loved to shop and buy gifts. She also had a passion for cooking for others. As a longtime cancer survivor, Roni showed her appreciation by donating her body for research to the Anatomical Gift Program at UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester.The arrangements are being handled by Spencer Funeral Home, 575 E Broadway South Boston, MA. Celebration and burial will be private at a later date.
