Neil Daniel Morris

Neil Daniel Morris, of Boston, Massachusetts, passed away on September 22, 2026, at his home with family by his side, after a long illness. He was 65. Born on April 7, 1961, in Boston, Neil was educated in the Boston schools and remained closely connected to the character and spirit of the city throughout his life.

Neil will be remembered as a cheerful and loyal man whose steady presence meant a great deal to those who knew him. He worked as a draftsman and logistics specialist, bringing dedication and care to his professional life. Outside of work, he found great joy in riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle and taking part in numerous fundraising rallies, combining his love of the open road with a generous spirit and a desire to help others.

He also had a deep love for animals and, over the years, adopted many rescue dogs, giving them care and a home. That compassion was a meaningful part of who he was and reflected the kindness that family and friends will long remember.

Neil is survived by his wife, Janet (Beecher) Morris. He is also survived by his brother Carl R. Morris and his wife, Lisa, of Scituate,  sister, Marjorie McEvoy, and her husband, George, of Dorchester, and by his brother, Harry Morris, and his wife, Kathie, of Plymouth. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends, who will carry forward the memory of his loyalty, warmth, and generous heart.

He was predeceased by his father, Carl Morris, and his mother, Loretta (McLaughlin)  Morris.

Services will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial in St Brigid's Church at a date and time to be announced.
