Luyang (Lu) Tang, 33, of South Boston, passed away on December 4th in Boston. Born October 4th, 1992 in Xianning, China, Luyang was the loving son of Jiwei Tang and Weihua Xu. As a hard-working student in China, Luyang earned a Degree of Bachelor of Engineering at Wuhan University of Science and Technology before earning a Master's Degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering at the same university. Luyang moved to Boston and attended Northeastern University, where he earned a Master of Science Degree in Engineering Management, Data Analytics|Machine Learning with a 4.0 grade point average in 2021. After completing his education, Luyang joined Trinity Health, where he excelled as a Business Intelligence Analyst and was recognized by his colleagues for his extraordinary work.Luyang was known by friends and loved ones as a warm, kind, funny and generous person who made every room he ever entered, a brighter one. Luyang had a unique ability to quickly become friends with someone he just met. He loved music, traveling, sports, fashion, and time with the family. In addition to his parents, Luyang is survived by his husband of more than five years, Joseph Pesaturo, who feels extremely blessed for the time they had together. “Uncle Lu” forged a strong bond with his husband’s family and created beautiful, long-lasting memories. He was loved by everyone.Anyone who knew Luyang will tell you there will never be another Lu.Calling hours will be Monday, December 15th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the WM. F.
