John Patrick Gill

John Patrick Gill, of South Boston, Massachusetts, was born on August 31, 1949, and passed away

peacefully on November 14, 2025, after a long period of declining health.

He was the son of the late Martha A. Rogerson and James A. Gill.

John is survived by his brother, James F. Gill, and his wife, Anne, both of Sanford, North Carolina.

He also leaves behind his three nieces, Karen Murphy, Jacquelyn Vadeboncoeur, and Jaime Cleary,

as well as many grandnieces and grandnephews.

He is also lovingly remembered by his cousin, John Devlin, who supported him with regular visits

and care, and by his extended family of surviving cousins.

John spent almost a decade at Laurel Ridge Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Boston,

Massachusetts, where the staff were, in many ways, a second family to him.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Gate of Heaven Church, South Boston, MA, on

Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.

Burial will follow at Blue Hill Cemetery in Braintree, Massachusetts.
