Collins John J. of South Boston, suddenly April 29, 2024. Beloved son of the late Vincent W. Collins Sr. and Margaret "Peggy" (McGowan). Devoted brother of Vincent "Moose" Collins and his wife Claire of Braintree, Patricia Strumm and her husband Stephen of Weymouth, Francis Collins and his wife Susan of Dorchester. Dear uncle of Patrick Strumm, Sean Strumm and his wife Emalie, and Michael Collins. Loving great uncle of Otto Strumm. Also survived by several aunts and uncles, many cousins and friends. Visiting hours in the Wm. F. Spencer Funeral Home, 575 E. Broadway (at H St), South Boston on Friday, May 3rd from 9:30-11:30 A.M. followed by a Funeral Mass in Gate of Heaven Church at 12:00 P.M. Relatives and friends kindly invited. Interment Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester. Late graduate of Don Bosco, Class of 1985 and retired employee of The MBTA
