James Joseph “Jim” Saulnier, 84, of Needham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully of
natural causes on November 24, 2025, surrounded by the love of his family. A devoted
husband, father, brother, and friend, Jim was dearly admired for his kindness, honesty, and
steadfast nature that touched the lives of all who knew him.
Born on March 12, 1941, in Boston, Massachusetts, Jim was the beloved son of Julius P. and
Angela M. Saulnier. He grew up in a close-knit family that valued hard work and
integrity—principles that guided him throughout his life.
In 1962, Jim married the love of his life, Janice M. Saulnier. Their loving union spanned an
extraordinary 63 years, built on devotion, laughter, and unwavering support for one another.
For more than 30 years, Jim worked as a fuel delivery driver for Gulf Oil. Was well known for his
professionalism and dependability.
Jim will always be remembered for his gentle heart, large humor, and genuine nature. He found
great joy in helping those around him, whether family, friends or strangers. A respected man
well earned.
Jim is survived by his beloved wife, Janice; his sons, James F. and Joseph G. Saulnier; his
sister, Lillian Dunn; and his brother, Arthur Saulnier. He was preceded in death by his parents,
Julius and Angela Saulnier.
A memorial service celebrating Jim’s life will be announced at a later date. He will be dearly
missed and forever cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
