BURKE James A. (Retired B.P.D.) in Dedham formerly of South Boston and Dorchester August 8, 2010. Beloved husband of the late Barbara A. (Nephew). Devoted father of Brian Burke of Newton, Barbara Salfity of West Roxbury, Francis Burke of Dedham, Maura Dorion Burke of South Boston and the late Thomas J. and Stephen E. Burke and Karen Campbell. Brother of Thomas and the late William. Also survived by thirty-four grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. Funeral from the Wm. F.
