Harold John Quinn

Worcester - Harold John Quinn III, 73.

On November 5th, 2025, we lost a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle, and grandfather.

Harold was born in Worcester City Hospital on June 2, 1952, to Harold John Quinn Jr. and Shirley Elizabeth (Weagle) Quinn. The family resided in Worcester's North End until 1961, before buying a home in Leicester, MA. The love of his friends always drew him back to the North End where he was affectionately known as "Beatle". Nothing was more fun than hanging on the corner of Milton St. with cousins and friends, leading to many stories later told. Harold attended school in both the city of Worcester and the town of Leicester. Harold was a lifelong truck driver. In his earlier years, working at Quality Foods, and Carrier Express he was a member of Teamsters Local 170, in Worcester. For the last 28 years he's been driving for Estes Express Lines, a freight shipping company out of Seekonk, Ma where he formed many wonderful friendships and proudly earned the prestigious 2 million mile safety award. Harold was a jack of all trades and could fix everything. He had an endless amount of energy and was always happy to lend a helping hand. He particularly enjoyed working on and repairing vehicles.

Harold met the love of his life, Gina (Regina Lynn DeMarco), in 1989, and they were married in a beautiful outdoor ceremony on June 15, 1991 with his childhood friend and best man, Phillip G. Stanikmas, by his side. The ceremony took place in Jackson, New Hampshire. They were happily married for 34 years. While they had no children together, Harold had children from his previous marriage to Dakoka (Cookie) Ann Hughes, who passed away in 2013. Harold is survived by his wife, Gina Quinn of Worcester, MA; two children, Steven W. Quinn of Webster, MA, and Leah J. Quinn (Glenn) of Dudley, MA; as well as his grandchildren, Austin Neil, Kylie Rayne, Cameron Anthony, and Tisha Leigh. He is also survived by five siblings: Susan Marie Duffy (Brian) of San Jose, CA; Debora Lee Kapulka (Joe) of Shrewsbury, MA; Alan William Quinn (Cheryll) of Cherry Valley, MA; Shelley Ann Hubbard (Billy) of Saint Matthews, SC; and Wendy Jean Buchanan (James) of Mesa, Arizona. Harold also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews and their children.

Harold was preceded in death by his father, Harold J. Quinn Jr., and his mother, Shirley E. Weagle Quinn, as well as his precious first born granddaughter Samantha Judell Quinn.
