DYMPHNA STAFFORD

Dymphna A. Stafford, 86, of Quincy and South Boston passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, after a brief illness. 
 Dymphna was born March 28, 1937 in South Boston, the daughter of John A. And Dymphna A ( Tighe) Stafford.  She is survived by her siblings, Joseph Stafford and wife Eleanor, Sheila McCabe, Brendan Stafford and wife Joanne along with many nephews, nieces, great nephews, great nieces and many cousins.  She was predeceased by her parents and brother in law, Robert McCabe.    Dymphna graduated from Gate of Heaven and worked for many years at Metropolitan Life Insurance Company until her retirement.
The family wishes to expressed their gratitude to RegalCare of Quincy for their care of Dymphna.   Visitation will be held at noon, on May 31, 2023, at Wm. F. Spencer Funeral Home, 575 E Broadway,  (at Hst) South Boston, followed by a service at the funeral home.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale, MA. www.spencerfuneralservice
