Carol Kemmit Courage

Carol Kemmitt Courage of South Boston passed away peacefully on November 9th 2025. She was the devoted mother of Abbie Courage of South Boston, beloved wife of the late George Courage, and the loving sister of Janice Kemmitt of West Yarmouth. Carol was the cherished daughter of James Kemmitt and Cecile (Sarno) Kemmitt. She was also a devoted friend and loving "extra mom" to many who loved her in return. She was also a beloved "CC" to many, especially Barbara, Dave, Lucas and Sammie. Carol, CC, loved people whether they were family, a longtime friend or someone she just met. She knew what people needed to hear and everyone left feeling loved and appreciated. The funeral mass will be at 11:30 Thursday November 13th at St Brigid's Church 841 East Broadway South Boston with a brief visitation at the church beforehand and a private burial.
